Adrian.
Adrian Doughty

Adrian has joined the UYB show since it’s conception and is a total pro when it comes to presenting a rowdy bunch!
Peculiar mixture of talents in man – Adrian Doughty: dancer, drag artist, comedian, media manager, event organiser, PR king and all-round entertainer. Once a meat manager at Sainsbury’s, Adrian was destined to leave the world of mince and chops to cavort with the princes of pop, as he embarked on a dazzling career in media and entertainment.
As a promoter who is also an artist himself, Adrian has a unique insight into the delicate dynamics involved in reaching the public psychologically through the media and reaching the public directly from the stage. This is what has made him such an invaluable representative for so many artists and entrepreneurs.
Audiences immediately open up to his warm

th and generosity of spirit. You couldn’t begin to count the amount of times Adrian has brought joy to people. He can walk into a room that seems like a Siberian morgue completely unfazed and within minutes, he’ll be up on the table shouting jokes and women who were glaring and suspicious on his arrival are suddenly hugging him and crying with laughter.
This ability to transform atmospheres as an artist, he uses to transform public perceptions of businesses – as their promoter. He will take a company or concept that he believes in – and feed it to every contact he knows for breakfast, dinner and tea.
The father of three children himself, and the counsellor to hundreds. Adrian’s great skill is to bring people together – often for pleasure but also with the serious hope that through uniting and co-operating, they might be able to strengthen and help each other.

John.

John first started to sing and act when he was browbeaten by a new, young music teacher into playing Pooh-Bah in Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Mikado when he was in the fifth form at school.
During his late teens and early twenties he went on to become one of the founding members of the Havering Youth Theatre Workshop and Redbridge Youth Opera. At the same time he sung with the Thurrock Male Voice Choir and was the baritone soloist before he left to pursue his career and professional studies.
A decade or more past before John became involved again when he joined the Dubai Drama Group and Dubai Singers. During his seven years in Dubai he appeared as a principle character in many musical shows, light opera and pantomimes. On his return to England during 1992 John once again found that work commitments did not leave him any time to take part in musical activities.
It was not until 2011 that John decided to summon up the courage to step onto a stage again when he performed in Deborah’s inaugural Up Your Bum show. He enjoyed it so much that he is happy to have been part of all of the shows and is back again this year!
He also recently joined the East Malling Singers and is trying to convince Deborah to join too!
Sparkles.
Miss D Sparkles
Its an absolute privilege and honor to once again tread the boards for this amazing cause. My act is a homage to my Nan who lost her life to bowel cancer, and my best friend Linda, who would have been right up there with me if she were here today.

I’ve sung, danced and acted in shows and pantos since I was small, although I’ve not doing anything for a few years now, I couldn’t turn down the chance to do what I love best, to entertain and make people smile
Rebecca.
Rebecca Kalli
This is my first time performing for UYB and I feel so privileged to have been asked to support this charity.
Performing has been a big part of my life since the age of 2, and now at 16 I’ve supported many charity performances including Splash of Greens Charity Ball, Kym Marsh’s Charity Ball, Safe Child Thailand, Imagine Children’s festival, Great Ormond Street Hospital Christmas Ball and many other charity events.
Before throwing myself into performing I used to be an elite gymnast and was part of the national South East squad during this time I was also dancing with Brooks Academy of dance where I have been since the age of two. Last January I got accepted into the West End Kids elite main troupe where I performed for thousands of people at places like Move It and the Regent Street Motor show.
As well as this, I have been nominated two years in a row for the International Dance Teachers Association awards in Manchester! I love to share my performing with everyone and I hope one day to make it big.
I am dedicating my performances to my Auntie Tina who sadly lost her battle to cancer in 2012, as I know she would have been supporting from the audience if she was still here today.

Lana.
Lana Pitcher
“I began singing as a child, when I was cast as Cosette in Les Miserables at the Queen’s Theatre aged 9. Since then, I’ve sung wherever I can (literally – ask anyone who’s ever been in earshot of me), including at the Mardi Gras at Her Majesty’s Theatre and showcases at Italia Conti in Tunbridge Wells, which I attended for four years.

I am now an MA student and have performed and choreographed for both the dance and performing arts societies at university – I am currently choreographing a production of Made in Dagenham
