The campaigns that have been run have invariably saved lives. As well as these, in the UK, April see’s Bowel Cancer Awareness Month, an annual event designed to increase awareness of bowel cancer and raise funds towards treating this condition and support. It has historically been driven by organisations including Beating Bowel Cancer and Bowel Cancer UK, who have now merged with the main aim of ensuring that there would be no victim of Bowel Cancer by 2050.
